DISTRESS FOAM STORAGE

I use the same piece of foam for each colour of my distress inks. For ages I've been using a little chest I made but as my collection of inks has grown, I needed more storage. The foam never dries out in my little drawers and each piece lasts for ages. I often use bits of Cut 'n Dry but I did buy some proper Ranger foam pads...and I've gone and lost them!!!!

I cut all the matchboxes on my Robo. The paper is actually a paper bag that something came in recently, but I can't remember from where. I printed my labels on SAFMAT and the little ruler stamp is from the fabulous 7 Gypsies 'Ephemera' set. The drawer handles are a size 3 seed bead with a brad in the middle, glued on.

The paper bag was quite pale, so of course, I inked it all to darken it up. I used Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Black Soot and Spiced Marmalade. Just got to put all my foam bits in it now.

Oh...this is awesome. I don't have the Robo, but i'm going to use real matchboxes. I'll find another idea for the bunch of leftover matches, for sure. Thank you!!!!
Happy Easter (:o)

What a great idea. Mine are just in a crate with the pads and it's my cats greatest delight to pilfer them and then they vanish never to be seen again.

This is awesome Lorraine, could you do a tutorial? I have all my pads in a bag and never quite sure I've got the right colour when I go to use it again !! I don't have a Robo though so would need the dimensions to be able to cut by hand. This is a fabulous project, I love it :oD
